Collaboration with Louis Clais
1200 pens, each customized with one of twelve instructions and the internet address.
The owner of one of these pens is invited to scribble a drawing reflecting his idea of the identified month, and then post his drawing on the internet website www.1to12.org. He or she can then pass the pen to someone else.
For the exhibition 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th 9th 10th 11th 12th (Dongzhart Museum, Shanghai, 2018) the pens 1 to 12 took the shape of an in situ and monumental installation. Stuck in the wall, ready to be handled, the pens were made available for the public. The event occurred both in the museum space, and on the internet website, where the content was uploaded over the course of the exhibition by the visitors.
